Agricola is a worker placement game with a focus on resource management. In Agricola, players are farmers that sow, plow the fields, collect wood, build stables, buy animals, expand their farms and feed their families. After 14 rounds players calculate their score based on the size and prosperity of the household.
Agricola (3rd Edition)
In Agricola (Latin for "farmer"), you're a farmer in a wooden shack with your spouse and little else. Agricola is a turn-based game. Each player starts with two playing tokens (farmer and wife) and thus can take two actions per turn. There are multiple options, and while the game progresses, you'll have more and more actions. Agricola can also be played without cards (family game) and can even be played solo.
