Harness the magic of the forest and go head-to-head with your rivals in this strategic deck-building game for 2 or 4 players. You’ll play as a powerful Sage, summoning warriors from the Twig, Leaf, Droplet, and Pebble factions and fighting to prove your prowess. As the battle continues, you’ll level up and gain access to extraordinary abilities and fierce new recruits. Protect your Sage at all costs and vanquish your opponents to earn the title of Master of the Elements!

HOW TO PLAY

In Command of Nature, players choose a Sage and face off in a deck-building battle of the Elements. The last Sage standing wins the game!

To get started, pick the Sage that will represent you during the game! Each Sage comes from a different Elemental Faction and provides a unique strategic advantage.

Set up your Sage Board, Starting Formation, Draw Piles, and the Markets by following the instructions in the rule book. Note: The setup shown is for 2 players. Setup for 4 players will look different.

Now you’re ready to start the game! Your turn is divided into four Phases. During Phase I, you’ll use the Daybreak effects of cards in your formation. Daybreak effects are indicated by a sun symbol on a card, and can only be triggered during Phase I.

During Phase II, you’ll spend up to 4 action points (AP) to perform standard actions and faction actions. Above are the standard actions you can take! You can perform standard actions in any order, and you can perform the same standard action more than once on your turn if you still have AP to spend.

Faction Actions are unique and can be found listed on your Sage Board. Each time you defeat an Elemental in your opponent’s formation, you’ll increase your level on your Sage Board by 1. As your level rises, you’ll unlock up to 3 faction actions. Each faction action costs 1 AP to perform, and you may only perform 1 faction action per turn.

During Phase III, you may use your gold to buy cards from the markets, sell cards to collect more gold, and refresh the markets. Learn more about gold, and the Markets in the Take A Closer Look section below!

During Phase IV, you’ll clean up your hand before ending your turn. Do this by discarding any number of cards from your hand, then draw from your deck until you have 5 cards in your hand. If you end your turn with more than 5 cards, discard down to 5.

Continue taking turns, building your deck, and taking down Elementals in your opponents Formation. When you defeat your opponent’s Sage, you win the game and earn the title of Master of the Elements!
