Lost amidst the surreal and bizarre unknowns of the far reaches of the cosmos, your crew of explorers must pull together to discover the resources necessary to survive the long journey home. Figure it out, or die.

Unsettled is a 2-4 player cooperative survival adventure set in the wondrous and unnerving fringes of uncharted space. There are no enemies and no combat, only an environment where every step, every breath, every particle around you could mean immediate, terrifying, death. Enemies are the least of your concerns.

In these incredible conditions you must complete a series of tasks necessary to your continued survival. Perhaps the water reclamation system on the ship needs repair, or (as usual) food supplies are running low. Before you lies a strange alien landscape - it’s up to you to complete these tasks using…whatever you find out there.

Lost amidst the surreal and bizarre unknowns of the far reaches of the cosmos, your crew of explorers must pull together to discover the resources necessary to survive the long journey home.

Each time you play you will have a different combination of survival tasks to complete and the things you discover (and their weird properties) will be different as well. So while you always start out knowing what problems you need to solve you have no idea how you’re going to use the world before you to do so (or what the world is going to do to you while you try).

As you explore the environment, encountering wild & unique opportunities along the way, you will work closely with the rest of your crew to achieve your goal of continued existence. The only thing you can be sure of is each other; lose that trust and you’ll lose all hope of survival.

This core set comes with 2 planets, Planet 001-Wenora and Planet 002-Grakkis, which are not available individually.

Embrace your fungal hosts and discover mind-bending abilities beyond your imagination or be absorbed forever. Unsettled: Wenora is the 1st planet box for "Unsettled".

Wenora is a bizarre and wondrous fungal jungle teeming with alien vegetation and gargantuan spore-based lifeforms.

Growth in this place is of a scale beyond any we've encountered. Life drips and pulsates disturbingly, mysterious pastes and powders covering most of the planet's crawling surfaces. Simply traversing the land is deeply unnerving, yet awe inspiring all the same. Tentacles, toxic spores and an alarming array of suction cups abound.

Things you may find here:

  • Electromagnetic Polypores
  • Incandescent Slime
  • Floating Tentacle Knots
  • Screaming Glow Frogs
  • Telekinetic Microbe Clouds

Discover pathways to the skies to escape violent storms and enormous creatures that haunt the surface. Unsettled: Grakkis is the 2nd planet box for "Unsettled".

Grakkis is a sand-swept desert ruins. What was once a massive planet-wide forest of unfathomably large trees is now that forest's graveyard - all the trees having long since petrified to a stone-like state. Some have crumbled into interesting formations. Some had rotted before petrifying, creating strange caves and crevices, many of them thousands of feet above ground. Colossal alien lifeforms, disturbing in their appearance, wander the wasteland. They tower horrifyingly in the distance like gods in some waking existential nightmare.

Things you may find here:

  • Musical Stonewood Formation
  • Falling Stone-Fruit Bombs
  • Bioluminescent Paste
  • Blooming Geodes
  • Gaseous Sand Storms

Cautiously explore a crystalline crypt to commune with ancient beings and access long-forgotten secrets. Unsettled: Zehronn is the 3rd planet box for "Unsettled".

Zehronn is a cavernous labyrinth filled with ancient crystalline formations. Entombed throughout the crystals are the enormous bodies of a strange alien species.

Oddly, there is no sound on this planet, which is somehow absorbed by the crystals. They act as a source of light however, with some kind of spiritual essence being absorbed from the remains of great beings from another time.

Things you may find here:

  • Silent, Wailing Haze
  • Crystalline Passageways
  • Monolithic Presence
  • Bottomless Crevass
  • Uncanny Mechanical Traps

Delve into a labyrinthian coral construct, but tread lightly lest you anger the very ground you walk upon. Unsettled: Yendraal is the 4th planet box for "Unsettled".

Yendraal is a planet-sized mass of sentient coral floating through space. Running through its mass is a series of colorful life-filled tunnels that intersect and connect cavernous pockets, each flourishing with a different wondrous collection of creatures.

Be mindful in your pursuits however, as an ancient awareness floods every corner of this world. The resources you need are available and wondrous discoveries await, but claiming them will require a strange new type of diplomacy.

Things you may find here:

  • Coral Towers
  • Ethereal Constellation Chamber
  • Intelligent Mists
  • Resonant Eels
  • Effervescent Flame Pearls

Note: This expansion is a community-designed planet, created during the initial kickstarter launch.

Take refuge in clockwork stone shells, and endure the heat of floating lava rivers in this fiery wonderland of timed maneuvers and variable gravity. Unsettled: Strannos is the 5th planet box for "Unsettled".

This swirling jumble of floating stone, lava tubes and fire are held “together” by a weak gravity and atmospheric shell but never form a greater whole. An explorer standing on a horizon-stretching chunk of rock can observe thousands of similar stone continents floating overhead and across the horizon, rivers of lava floating among, around, and over them as if inside a planet-sized lava lamp. Up and down have no meaning in this constantly shifting world of hellish heat and stunning spectacle. To navigate this environment is to risk death.

Delve into the drifting, planet-sized head of an ancient being and attempt to access its lost memories for clues that could lead you home. Unsettled: Kaélyfos is the 6th planet box for "Unsettled".

Steel your stomach - and then get the heck out of here as fast as you can. This massive rotting head of an ancient being may hold the secrets you need to get home. Question is, can you bring yourself to acquire them? Elude the brutal bacterial creatures roaming (and eating) this rotting fleshland as you wander eyeballs, tongues and teeth in your attempt to find and tap into this massive creature's memories and figure out just where in the universe you might be. Be careful though, this planet-sized noggin doesn’t feature biology you’re used to, and in your attempts to pull memories you may mistakenly tap into nerves or glands that could flood you with chemicals that wildly impact your emotional and mental state. Kaelyfos is Free on Kickstarter when you add Strannos to your pledge.

Untangle an ever-changing planet-sized knot of vines to reveal hidden secrets and the means to go on going on. Unsettled: Koguya is the 7th planet box for "Unsettled".

Koguya is a massive tangle of tanglies; a rubberband-ball-like orb of entwined vines that are grabbing, pulling, and throwing you about as you attempt to do what needs doing. Launch yourself around on spring-like vine coils, swing from place to place like a classic jungle fantasy, and slip through tunnels as you scavenge your way through the various refuge and space-waste the vines have plucked up and claimed on their eons-long journey across the cosmos.

Restore power to the Scarab before a malfunctioning Luna turns your lights out for good. Unsettled: Blackout is the 8th planet box for "Unsettled".

Research on a mysterious substance has triggered a bizarre explosion, plunging the ship into near-complete darkness and compromising Luna, who no longer recognizes you as friendly. You must fund a way to get the power back on while thwarting Luna's attempts to de-conscious you. Pile equipment into barricades, distract her with loud noises, or just jump out the airlock if she gets too close. Whatever you do, don't let her catch you; you know all-too-well how effective she is.

It's kill-you-instantly cold outside. Somehow, that's the least of your problems. Unsettled: Gniir is the 9th planet box for "Unsettled".

An eerie, ethereal sense of uncertainty haunts every moment on this frost-goth world of ice and stone. Monolithic ruins loom in the distance, eerily preserved, disturbingly quiet. More unnerving yet, is the presence you can sense but cannot see. You feel it, in the howling wind, in the drifts of snow, around you, inside you.

Gniir is about finding shelter from more than just the elements. The resources you need can be found, but only in places you can't survive. It's a whole thing. You'll work it out.

A minimum of 24 all-new survival tasks for the first six planets based on concepts designed by the community of the second Unsettled Kickstarter campaign.

This expansion adds unique actions to unlock for each crew member.

Use your scientific specialization in tandem with environment-specific comprehension to perform actions unique to your character.

Lean on your scientific training to discover how all of this peculiar, newly-acquired comprehension has significance that could keep everyone breathing a bit longer. With the Scientific Specializations module, your "aha!" moments allow you to specialize in ways others cannot—which is a good thing if you all want to survive whatever "this" is and celebrate all of those breaths you've taken for granted.

Give in to your idiosyncratic intrigues...perhaps at the expense of your crew...in the hopes that your mind can solve what others haven't been able to.

Take the gamble—use the insights you gain to fill in the mysterious gaps you've been pondering throughout your life instead of the application outlined for the task at hand. If your intuition services you as well as your intellect, let your curiosity lead you to understanding in lieu of rational thought alone. THere's more to life than what you were taught.

With this module, whenever you gain an Insight, a player can instead choose to advance their chosen personal Fascination. Each time you complete the Fascination track, the player receives the reward on their Fascination board. Thus, the player decides if they wish to pursue their Fascination reward at the expense of pursuing Comprehensions and Breakthroughs.

This module introduces eight Fascination boards. At the start of the game, each player chooses one Fascination board and attaches it to their player dashboard.
