Designed and beautifully illustrated by Haakon Gaarder, Villagers is a game of card drafting and village building set somewhere very much like medieval Europe. As a village founder you'll invite people from all walks of life to live and work in your expanding community. If you can recruit the right people to form lucrative production chains while balancing your food production and building capacity, your village will become the most prosperous and you'll win the game!

You are the founder of a new village during the middle ages, in the years after a great plague. The loss of so many people has created big problems for the survivors. Many of the people the villagers used to depend on for essential things like food, shelter

and clothes are gone. Craftsmen find themselves without suppliers of raw materials, traders have lost their customers and many have lost their farms and workshops as they escaped the plague.

The roads are full of refugees seeking a new beginning. They come to you, hoping to settle down on your land and make a living. Your grain farm is the ideal starting point for a village, reliably providing food for many people. You must choose wisely who you allow to settle with you, as your food and resources are limited.

The people on the road have valuable and unique skills, but they all in turn rely on other people with very specific crafts to be able to work. Raw materials, tools and services must be provided by other people from the road.

If you manage to find people that can work together to make a profit, while increasing your food surplus and capacity for building new houses, your village will be prosperous.

The game comes with a solo mode where a lone village strives to prosper in spite of the dreaded Countess and her evil machinations.

The must-have expansion from the 2018 Kickstarter campaign, including Profiteers, Saints, Scoundrels, and Developments. This pack also includes four delightfully chunky wooden tokens.

Profiteers introduce Bronze symbols to the game - at the end of every round you can choose one of your Bronze villagers to score some sweet extra coins!

Saints are especially benevolent & helpful folk who are dealt out randomly one per player at the start of the game to give everyone an early boost.

Scoundrels are the rascals & rogues of the game, adding a take-that element that won't be to everyone's taste, but they certainly spice things up!

Developments add an entire new dimension to the game: various buildings & establishments that players compete to control. At the end of each round, the player who controls each Development gets a reward.

ADD-ONS are optional extra not included with this bundle. You can include these add-ons with your order by selecting the checkboxes above. Additional cost will be added to your order.

As an optional extra we are offering a fabulous Coin Box - a set of 110 coloured & printed wooden coins to replace the cardboard coins that come with Villagers as standard, all packaged in a magnetically fastened cardboard treasure chest that fits inside the Villagers game box.

Combining the previously released Promo Pack 1 and Dice Tower Promo Cards. A total of ten cards spanning five new villagers and three strangely familiar alternate basic villagers that can be included in any game mode or player count.

Promo Pack 1

Two copies each of two new Solitary villagers for Villagers, both 'silver' scoring types, which pay out in the second (and final) market phase. The pack also includes a double sided player aid card for the solo mode.

The new villagers are playable at all player counts, including solo mode, and should be shuffled into the main deck before setup. They are:

• Scribe - Score 1 gold for every card you have in hand.
• Plower - Score 2 gold for each grain symbol in your village.

Dice Tower Promo Cards

Six cards for Villagers: Hayer, Lumberjack, Miner, Vasel, Healey, Garcia.

Originally available during the Dice Tower 2020 Kickstarter Campaign as part of the Builders Pack.

Organise the central Road area and be generally fancy with a deluxe colour printed neoprene playmat with stitched edges. (Cards not included).

A full colour 30x70cm edge bound neoprene playmat for Villagers. The Villagers Playmats is made of fabric-covered neoprene and helps to keep the road organised while making it easier to pick up cards. It measures 30 x 70cm and has a bound edge with rounded corners.
